Abstract:

La Nifta manifestations in the Black Sea region are studied in the paper using the fields of the main climatic anomalies such as air temperature, sea surface pressure and precipitation. The features of hydrometeorological anomalies are analyzed taking into account the preliminary spatial La Nina events classification. It is shown that the air temperature anomalies at the Black Sea coast in late 2016 – early 2017 are the manifestation of Central-Pacific La Nifla type.

Keywords: La Nifla, Black Sea region, climatic responses, air temperature, pressure, El Niflo – Southern Oscillation.
