Abstract:
In the present work the description of original domestic oil-water filtering installation (NWFU) “AkvaTekh-M”, intended for the treatment of oil-containing (bilge, bilge, ballast, companion) of water from petroleum products on ships and vessels of unlimited area of navigation, as well as in refineries, oil companies, oil depots, gas stations, cleaning of flooded oil products from water and mechanical impurities, and also for complex use only for cleaning oily water and the same cleaning of flooded ship’s fuel is given.
Its design features, basic and functional schemes and control algorithms, as well as examples of testing or long-term operation of separators of different performance in ships and industrial installations for their intended purpose are described.
The achieved characteristics of HCFCS are given: when cleaning oily waters, the content of oil products at the outlet is less than 5 million-1, and mechanical impurities in purified water – no more than 1 million-1; when cleaning oil products, the water content in the separated oil products is not more than 1%, and the content of mechanical impurities in them is not more than 25 million – 1. Fixed resource of NWFU overhaul is 60,000 h, a complete resource is 120,000 h service life before overhaul is 12 years – a full lifetime is 25 years.
The main advantages of “AkvaTekh-M” in comparison with the best foreign analogues are also mentioned – the absence of replaceable cartridges and filters, automatic regeneration of the filter material, the ability to clean emulsions and oily water with surfactants due to their neutralization by coagulant and centrifugal effect, the possibility of separate placement of the elements of the installation both horizontally and in height, as well as full automation of all processes. At the same time, their cost is on average two times lower than foreign analogues at the complete absence of costs during operation.
The tasks of further research in this direction are to study and develop new principles of separation of oily water and watered fuel.
Keywords: oil and water mixture, flooding, petroleum products, refining, installation.
