Abstract:
The proposed model is a complex spatially distributed structure for assessing the transfer, transformation and impact of pollutants on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems in the “Atmosphere – underlying surface – water body” system and integrates atmospheric, hydrological, soil and biological processes in monthly time steps. As an example of the research object, the coastal zone of the seaside territory was taken, characterized by the presence of port infrastructure, which causes the presence of decomposition elements of petroleum products in the environmental components that affect the flora. The formed structure of mathematical equations makes it possible to take into account features of the processes of the system under study, to reveal the physico-chemical properties of pollutants, the spatial distribution of the types of the underlying surface, the temperature dependences of kinetic parameters characterizing the change in concentrations of pollutants, sedimentation of particles in the water column, and water exchange. The presented calculation algorithm using the generated equations allows us to identify the features of the ongoing processes. The model systems of equations use variables and parameters displaying classical kinetic and thermodynamic patterns. The patterns displayed in the model make it possible to take into account secondary chemical pollutants that affect changes in the environmental situation.
